Stranger Things Block Party
November 4, 2023 @ 5:00 p.m.
In honor of “Stranger Things Day”, the Douglasville Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) will be hosting the third annual Stranger Things Block Party on Saturday, November 4th.

For one day, portions of Downtown Douglasville will transform into Hawkins, Indiana. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the town’s biggest landmarks and participate in various Stranger Things-related activities!

O’Neal Plaza will transform into “Rink-o-Mania,” a pop-up skating rink inspired by the latest season. There will be a costume contest, multiple selfie spots, and Stranger Things landmarks throughout Downtown Douglasville. The Douglas County Sentinel Office will distribute the Hawkins Post newspaper and the city’s current Public Services Building on Courthouse Square will be remembered as Hawkins Police Station.

Exciting new additions await at this year's event! Our GreyStone Amphitheater will premiere 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife.' Catch an appearance and performance by Eddie Munsons guitar stunt double, Aidan Fisher. Explore a Stranger Things Walkthrough, and indulge in Stranger Things themed offerings from local food trucks and vendors. Fabiano’s will once again transform into Surfer Boy Pizza as well as participation from other downtown restaurants and businesses.
