Danielle Freeman 
Executive Director, School Nutrition


Ms. Freeman's school nutrition career began in 1999.  She has a Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition from Fort Valley State University.  with a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Armstrong Atlantic University.   She holds a School Nutrition Director Certificate from the Georgia PSC.  Prior to coming to Douglas County in 2014, she worked for Savannah-Chatham County Schools and Fulton County School Nutrition where she served as both an Area Supervisor and then School Nutrition Coordinator.  Ms. Freeman is a well rounded leader with a diverse background including several years in public health and education prior to school nutrition.
