Certified Positions


The Douglas County School System posts teaching and administrative vacancies and accepts applications through http://www.teachgeorgia.org/.

 To apply for a teaching/administrative position on Teach Georgia: 

  1. Go to http://www.teachgeorgia.org/ and register as a new user if you have not previously registered.
  2. Job browse the Douglas County School System's vacancies.
  3. If you see a vacancy you are interested in applying for, read the specific application instructions listed in the vacancy description, complete the Teach Georgia application and attach it to that vacancy.
  4. You must attach the application to the vacancy in order for our Principals/Administrators and Human Resources to have direct access to your application. 
  5. Submit the application.

*Administrative applicants: Please submit a Teach Georgia application only in response to posted administrative vacancies.

  • We will contact qualified applicants by phone or email.

*Some administrative positions do not require a teaching certificate. See Classified (Non-Teaching) Positions for more information.

REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW EMPLOYEES

  • Pre-employment fingerprints and criminal background check are required. Fingerprinting is done at the Douglas County Board of Education Central Office.
  • Employment eligibility documentation is required. A list of acceptable documents can be found at https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/form-i-9-acceptable-documents
  • Copies of the last three years of Annual Performance Appraisals are required.
