Dear Dynamic Dolphin Parents and Guardians,
To ensure a smooth start to the school year, all elementary schools in Douglas County will have an early bus dismissal during the first two (2) days of school. Please review the schedule below:
Early Dismissal Schedule – First Two (2) Days
Thursday, July 31st – Dismissal at 1:45 PM / Bus Departure at 2:00 PM
Friday, August 1st – Dismissal at 1:45 PM / Bus Departure at 2:00 PM
Why Early Dismissal?
Early release allows our bus drivers extra time to adjust routes for younger students who may be riding the school bus for the first time. It also gives our youngest learners time to get used to their new school routine.
Regular Schedule Begins Monday, August 4th
Dismissal at 2:10 PM
Bus Departure no later than 2:20 PM
We ask that you pack your patience over the first few weeks of school. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work together for a safe and smooth start to the year.
