Summer reading assignments are now available for students enrolled in AP Literature and Composition, AP Language and Composition, and Dramatic Writing for the 2026–2027 school year.

Students are encouraged to begin reading and working on their assignments early over the summer. All summer reading assignments are due on Friday, August 28, 2026, regardless of the semester in which the course is scheduled, and will count as a summative grade.

📖 Course Reading Highlights:

• AP Language students will read Something Like the Gods and Freakonomics while completing a double-entry journal assignment.

• AP Literature students will select one approved text pairing from the provided reading list and complete double-entry journals for both texts.

• Dramatic Writing students will read The Play That Goes Wrong (Acting Edition) and complete a double-entry journal assignment.

Students may access the summer reading information online or pick up a hard copy from Ms. Thompson in Room B213.
