No Online Classes on Friday, April 16

Employees will receive their second dose of the vaccine on Friday, April 16. Because some employees may experience temporary side effects after the second vaccine and potentially need Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to recover, we will not hold online classes that Friday. Students may work independently on assignments. They will not log in for class on April 16.

DCSS Students Win Top Honors at Regional Science Fair

Twenty-one students from Douglas and Carroll Counties competed in the West GA Regional Science & Engineering Fair. Douglas County students walked away with the top honors. Rebecca Scarbrough, an 11th grader at Lithia Springs High School, earned Best in Show for the senior division. Camille Scott, a 7th grader at Chapel Hill Middle School, won Best in Show for the junior division.
