National Speech Pathologist Day is observed each year on May 18th. This day serves to acknowledge the profound impact that speech-language pathologists (SLPs) have on the lives of individuals with communication disorders.

SLPs are clinicians who specialize in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of speech, language and swallowing disorders.

The Douglas County School System thanks all of our SLPs for making a difference in the lives of others. We appreciate all that you do!
