🍪🔬 Our third graders in Mrs. Meyers' class turned into paleontologists this week! They did a chocolate chip cookie fossil dig in science lab—carefully “excavating” the chips just like fossils. Hands-on learning (and a sweet treat!) made science extra fun! 🌟

Our second graders have been learning all about our government and the executive branch! In STEM, they’ve been busy designing and building their perfect White House. 🏛️ From fun additions to creative ideas, they imagined what they would include if they were President of the United States. This hands-on project ties perfectly with their writing piece, “If I Were President.” We love seeing their creativity shine! 🌟

🍂📚 New Month = New Beanstack Challenge! 📚🍂

This month, we’ve got TWO exciting reading challenges:

✨ County Challenge: Fall Into Reading – log 300 minutes of reading!
✨ MAES Challenge: In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, log 400 minutes of reading. We’ll be spotlighting Hispanic authors and titles during story times all month and into October! 🌎📖

🎉 Students who complete our school challenge will earn a brag tag for their book bag AND a free bundt cake certificate from Nothing Bundt Cakes! 🎂📘

Rewards from August will go home on Wednesday when students return from the long weekend!
