Today’s Kindness Matters Spotlight is Kali. She goes out of her way to help a classmate who has a cast by packing up his backpack each day. She was nominated by Dr. Knowles!

Kali, thank you for being so kind and helpful to your classmates — especially when they need a little extra support! 💙🌟

🌟 Thank You for Your Kindness! 🌟

Our Coins for Kindness drive was a huge success thanks to you! Because of your generosity, we raised $1,285.14, which was rounded up to $1,290. This means each family we were raising money for affected by the storms in Jamaica and the Philippines will receive $430 to help replace clothing and other essential items lost in the storms.

Your support will make a meaningful difference, and we are truly grateful for every single donation. 💛

A special congratulations to Mrs. Farray’s class, our top contributors! Even after having $54 deducted from dollar bills placed in their bucket, they still raised over $116 and won a pizza party in December! 🍕👏

Thank you to all of our amazing students for showing such incredible kindness and community spirit. We appreciate you! 🌈

Today we held our school spelling bee, and it was an exciting battle of sharp spellers and strong vocabulary skills! In the end, Liam came out on top, and Skylarr earned the title of runner-up! 🎉

Liam will go on to represent our school at the county bee in January. We are so proud of all our participants—spelling isn’t easy, and each of these students earned their spot by being the best in their class. Great job to all! 🐝✨

A special thank you to our judges - Mrs. Cox, Ms. Roberson, and Ms. Hale and our word caller - Mrs. Martin for giving their morning to support the Spelling Bee and these students!

Our 5th graders had an amazing time today putting their STEM skills to work during their field trip to Topgolf! They explored angles, force, trajectory, and measurement as they aimed for targets, adjusted their swings, and analyzed how power and direction impact distance. It was the perfect mix of hands-on learning, teamwork, and fun! ⛳✨

Coins for Kindness is off to an amazing start! We’ve already raised over $70, and Dr. Knowles’ class is currently in the lead with nearly $25 collected today!

Don’t forget to bring in your change each day for your class’s bucket — every cent earns 1 point. Want to play a little defense? Drop dollars into another class’s bucket to take 100 points away from them for each dollar in the bucket!

We’ll announce the winning class on Friday, and they’ll celebrate with a pizza party in December!

All money raised will support families in Jamaica and the Philippines who were impacted by recent storms. Thank you for helping us spread kindness! 🌎💙

Did you know we celebrated the 67th day of school this week?
To mark the occasion, our teachers went undercover in their best “6–7” attire, they played 6-7 tag in P.E., and our students are officially 67 days smarter!

We’re already inching toward the halfway point of the school year… bruh, how did that happen?! 🎉📚

Our 1st grade classes had a wonderful time on their field trip today! They visited Ole McDermitt's Farm and enjoyed a full day of fall fun. Students fed animals, mined for gems, picked pumpkins, explored the corn maze, jumped on the giant trampoline, rode on a hayride, and—of course—loved the big slides! It was a day filled with laughter, learning, and great memories.

🌟 Let’s Keep Our Attendance on Track, Wolf Cubs! 🌟

We had a very busy October full of fun and learning! Even though we were only in school for 18 days, we added 528 absences and 653 tardies to our totals. That’s a big jump — around 300 more tardies compared to this time last year.

Every minute counts! ⏰
If a student is 20 minutes late each day, that adds up to over an hour of missed learning each week. Let’s work together to turn that around and make November our best attendance month yet!

Every day. On time. Ready to learn. 💪🐾

🎃🏠 A huge thank you to Mrs. Amanda for helping Mrs. Watts’ class make such wonderful memories in STEM! The students had so much fun creating their spooky (and not-so-spooky!) Halloween (and Princess) houses while learning about 2D and 3D shapes — part of our 3rd-grade geometry standard on recognizing and building different kinds of shapes. 💡✨

Learning really can be a treat! 🍬📐
