The Douglas County School System’s Class of 2025 leaves behind a legacy of excellence forAHS Valedictorian Caylie Brennan future DCSS graduates to uphold. Among these exceptional scholars are 577 Board Scholars Graduates, four Georgia Scholars, and 1,014 students eligible for the HOPE Scholarship.

With over $97.3 million in scholarships awarded from the state’s top colleges and Ivy League institutions, these remarkable graduates are committed to leaving a lasting imprint on their community. Many are exploring opportunities across several career paths, including criminal justice, the armed services branch, medicine, engineering, and education. 

The Class of 2025 celebrated their academic accomplishments with pride, marking a significant milestone to conclude one journey and begin another during ceremonies from May 21-23.

As all 2,155 seniors walked across the Legacy Arena stage to continue their path toward excellence, they carried invaluable lessons learned throughout high school. They embraced their special moment, celebrating their accomplishments, reflecting on years of hard work, and looking at the endless opportunities that lie ahead.  

The Douglas County Board of Education, Superintendent Dr. Trent North, and Team DouglasDCHS valedictorian Mason Mifflin were excited to witness the extraordinary impact these scholars will have on the world. 

“The Douglas County School System has equipped our incredible graduates with the knowledge and confidence to embrace the real world with strength and determination,” said Superintendent Dr. Trent North. “The Class of 2025 has made us proud and will continue to do so as they pursue their endless opportunities. By representing the standard of excellence, they are leaving behind a legacy of promise and grace. Their support system–family, friends, and educators is excited to witness their future success.”
