School leaders at Chapel Hill High School recently celebrated outstanding teachers and students in a unique way for being "Excellent on Purpose." Panther Patrol was on a roll, taking matters into their own hands when they caught people in the act of being excellent on purpose.
"At Chapel Hill High School, we believe that excellence does not happen by accident," Principal Dr. Melisha Plummer said. "It is the result of intentional choices we make each day. This belief is the foundation of our Be Excellent on Purpose campaign, which inspires both students and staff to approach learning, teaching, and leadership with purpose. To Be Excellent on Purpose means making the conscious decision to be the very best version of yourself in every situation, even when no one is watching."
Dr. Plummer noted that recognizing academic achievement is just as important as highlighting strong character.
