Mirror Lake Elementary School third graders who earned 20 or more points on their Math and/or Reading Beacon assessments were recently rewarded for their achievements with a fun and exciting slime-making celebration.
Participation in the event gave them an opportunity to come together and celebrate their success.
Third-grade teachers Mahogany Berry, Naomi Nunnally, Richard Lennert, and Angel Gay, who treated their high-achievers to the festivities, agreed that it was a great way to highlight their accomplishments and encourage continued hard work, dedication and overall excellence.
