Eastside Elementary recently welcomed students and families for its Bear-y-Safe and Smart Open House.

The event was held on Aug. 19, giving parents an opportunity to hear important information from Principal Dr. Tameka Scott, visit their child’s teacher and learn about safety and discipline procedures that help make Eastside a safe, supportive place to learn and grow.

"It was great to see our parents actively engaged and eager to partner with us,” said media specialist Dr. Linda James. “The energy in the building made it clear how committed our families are to supporting student success. We’re also grateful for the strong turnout—our cafeteria was filled with families."
