The Lithia Springs volleyball team is having its best season in the past few years, improving to 10-13 through earlier this week.

The Lady Lions swept a key region match with Griffin, 2-0, on Sept. 10.

"Our goal is just to leave it on the court," coach Sherkearion Dews said.

Dews spotlighted five players at the recent DCSS Fall Sports Media Day: senior outside hitter Jordan Staples, senior middle hitters Aja Giana and Amaya Evans, junior setter Lee'Onni Tillman and sophomore outside hitter Oluwatosin Bougin.

The Lady Lions will compete against the other county teams in the Douglas County Volleyball Championship on Saturday at Legacy Arena.
