The Factory Shoals Middle School cheerleading squad recently took their school spirit on the road, bringing smiles and excitement to students and staff at Sweetwater Elementary.

Cheerleaders greeted families at the car rider drop-off line with beaming smiles, high-fives and spirited chants, ensuring every young scholar kicked off their school day on a high note.

The morning visit highlighted the cheer team's commitment to community involvement and mentorship within the school district. School leaders praised the athletes for serving as positive role models and demonstrating leadership while inspiring the next generation of students.

"It was such a great experience for our cheerleaders to welcome the students at Sweetwater Elementary,” said FSMS cheer coach Keturah Auguste. “Opportunities like this allow our girls to connect with the community, be positive role models and show what Knight Pride is all about. We’re so proud of them!"
