The LEAP Special Education Preschool Program hosted its annual Fall Festival on Oct. 30 with 9th District Head Start at The LEAP Center.

More than 200 parents, children and community members gathered for an afternoon of seasonal fun and family connection.

Children explored the pumpkin patch and picked out pumpkins to take home, showed off their creativity at the rock painting station and enjoyed making s’mores, Principal Dr. Lameshea Cranford said.

“The bounce houses were a big hit, keeping little ones jumping and laughing throughout the event,” she said. “Parents joined in on the fun, making memories alongside their children while connecting with staff and other families.”

Cranford said events like the Fall Festival reflect LEAP’s commitment to strengthening families and building a supportive community for young learners.

“Our partnership with 9th District Head Start allows us to create meaningful experiences that bring families together and support children’s growth beyond the classroom,” she said.
