Whether you're commuting to work, running errands, or heading home, slowing down for a stopped school bus isn't just the law. It protects children.
Take a minute to refresh yourself on Georgia's school bus laws, including when drivers must stop, what flashing lights mean, and how to help keep students safe around buses.
Together, we can help every Douglas County student arrive safely at school and back home again

If your child’s school is listed below, all students will receive school meals at no cost, and no meal application is required.
Please review the list of qualifying schools below to determine how to proceed for the upcoming school year.
If your school is not listed, students may still qualify for free or reduced-price meals by completing a meal benefits application. We encourage all families to apply to determine eligibility.
